  • Black head
  • Olive green crown
  • Olive green chest and belly
  • Pale iris

Costa Rica through Panama and Colombia to Ecuador. Caribbean side in northern half, switching over to Pacific side in central Panama.

Forest edge and thickets in lowlands often near streams.
