South America: found in western Amazonian Brazil (south-western Amazonas)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species1.

Was formerly placed in genus Thryothorus like all other species of the genus Cantorchilus.

Habitat

Brushy undergrowth.

Behaviour

Diet
