Identification

14cm. Upperparts grey-brown, underparts pale with dark streaks. Dark crown with pale streaks, bill and feet are yellow-orange.

Distribution

It is endemic to the island of Grand Comoro in the Comoros.

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Forest.

Behaviour

Diet includes insects which it catches by making short flights from a perch low in a tree or bush.
