Distribution
Asia: found in southern Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and southern Vietnam
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
This taxon is considered a subspecies of Bengal Bushlark by some authors[2]
Some authorities show two subspecies: Mirafra erythrocephala erythrocephala and Mirafra erythrocephala subsessor[2]
Habitat
Cultivated areas, open scrublands of plains and lower hills.
Behaviour
Habitually parachuting in the air while singing and leg-dangling down onto ground.
