Formerly included in Blue Fantail together with Visayan Blue Fantail.
Subspecies
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- R. s. superciliaris:
- Philippines (Basilan and Zamboanga Peninsula of northern Mindanao)
- R. s apo :
- Philippines (south-eastern Mindanao)
Habitat
Forests below 1220 m. Occasionally forest edges.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects. They are often seen foraging in mixed species groups.
