Western Africa: Chad, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea and Democratic Republic of Congo
Eastern Africa: Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania

Habitat
Riverine and open woodland; dry bushland and bushy grassland.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet is almost entirely insectivorous. The mostly eat ants and termites with the addition of some other insects and spiders.
