- Black head, nape and throat
- Yellow mantle
Distribution
Eastern Africa: found in southern South Sudan to Uganda, Burundi, Kenya and northern Tanzania
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Woodland, parks, gardens adjacent to semi-arid acacia bush. dry scrubby savanna, lake shores and parkland.
Behaviour
Diet
Not fully known, but eats seeds and thought to eat insects too.
