Cantorchilus superciliaris

Thryothorus superciliaris

Identification

Distribution

Ecuador and Peru.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies are recognized:

  • C .s. superciliaris
  • C .s. baroni

Was formerly placed in genus Thryothorus like all other species of the genus Cantorchilus.

Habitat

Forests, mangroves and dry shrubland.

Behaviour

The diet includes insects and spiders.
