Distribution
They are found in the mountains of Turkey, Armenia, northern Georgia and Iran.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Temperate grassland. Breeding in rocky pastures with scattered berberis.

There is not a lot known. They forage on the ground for insects and seeds.
