Identification

Distribution

Found from Liberia (Mount Nimba) to southern Mali and south-central Ghana.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species.
It has in the past been regarded as conspecific with Jameson's Antpecker (and before as a subspecies of Woodhouse's Antpecker).

Habitat

Subtropical/ tropical lowland moist forest
