  • Glossy black upperparts (purple gloss on mantle)
  • Purple gloss to black underparts
  • Rufous wings with black tipped flight feathers and upperwing-coverts
  • Long black tail
  • Red iris; black bill and feet

Distribution

South-east Asia: found in the lowlands of Java.
