Violet Helleborine Shrops
Looking for any info regarding Violet H in Shropshire , i remember seeing 5-6 plants near a railway track ..... Can anyone help ...firstly with a site name and then on-site directions !! 2018 Orchid Thread
Marsh helleborines Had a wonderful evening on Newborough Warren on Sunday evening 24th June hoping to find Marsh helleborines and Grass of Parnassus, I found small colonies of Marsh H , many still in bud. Bog Orchid Hi Mike I did put down the phone after speaking to the Ranger at Elan Waters and was cynical but i take people on their word . It is a 2-3 hour trip from my home ...so will probably leave them for this year . Appreciate though Mike- Dylan Edwards

Yes I can .....!! I visited last week and i found 3 colonies c.14-16 plants If you make your way to the Bird Hide and then follow the main path heading in a right hand direction . Cors Bodelio ( update ) Hi Went to look for the Fly Orchid at this classic Anglesey fen site this afternoon ..plenty of Early Marsh the odd Common Spotted and 1 or 2 ( tentative ) Narrow-leaved ...I say tentative as it is a species i am not 100% familiar with . Violet Helleborines at Severn Valley Wonderful to catch up with this beautiful plant today ( cheers to Muba for the on-site directions ) ...Found in all 11 plants with several open but still some to come ......As you had 50 plants i only managed to find a small colony and then another small...- Dylan Edwards

Marsh Helleborines Showing nicely at Cors Bodelio Anglesey at the moment, as previously stated I was at Newborough Warren last week and in tight bud at that site. Purple-loosestrife and Water Avens in flower at Cors Bodelio also Broad-leaved helleborine near Bangor in bud at the moment too- Dylan Edwards

Of the 11 plants I found on Tuesday i would say that at least half where in good condition though it is fair to say that the nicer ones are are on the higher ledges I took the image linked below from the roof of my car , much to the amusement of several passers-by ...- Dylan Edwards
