    After twenty minutes of calling one finally showed itself, circling the car before alighting on a bush about 50 m away where it was joined by another (lower right inside bush).They continued to answer the call for several minutes before leaving. Another lifer for me.

    This showed up last night. Most Eurasian Collared are more uniform then this. Could this be a hybrid or a morph I haven't seen before?

    About 6 showed up at the feeders this week. Three male Hooded and one male Bullock's and at least 2 females. They almost hurt your eyes.

    For the second year in a row we've had Long Eared Owls succesfully nest at Corn Creek. This is one of four chicks. They remind of monkeys.

    I hear you. I shoot Sparrows and Kinglets every time I go out practicing for a good shot of one of the local Marsh Wrens. Someday soon I hope. This is a beauty.
