    Immature? gull? Darwin North Australia

    The attached is an image taken on a darwin beach. The closest I can guess is an immature pacific gull. But the beak looks too skinny.Happy to hear from those that can help.

    Cracticus argenteus (Silver-backed Butcherbird).

    I believe what my books call the grey Butcherbird Cracticus torquatus is called Cracticus argenteus (Silver-backed Butcherbird) in this site. If so the attached image may be an addition to the database.

    Helmeted Friar Bird and silver-crowned friarbird

    The silver-crowned friarbird in the database is difficult to see the features I' m wondering if it might be the helmeted friarbird. Here is an image of what i Think is a silver crowned friar bird. I would appreciate any advice on whether the identification is correct.
