    Canon SX50 Specs

I think we should blame the user first ;-) To save me trawling through the thread are you happy to attach your 'standard settings' for me again when you can find the time so that I can determine the cause. Do you do much PP on your images in particular noise reduction, if so what software do...

Great shot. If I shot this with my SX50HS the sky would be pure noise!

Ah, a belated thank you but I have printed it 2 pages side by side A4 landscape double sided and is nice and easy to read. I will keep your link for next time though.

Printing SX50 User Manual Does anyone have any suggestions for printing this manual please. I'd prefer n-up double sided on A4 but my brain must still be fuddled with anaesthetic :-( Jamie

    Canon SX50 Specs

Use the cable supplied with your camera <lol> I was pretty sure no USB cable came with the SX50 but when installing the Canon supplied software I'm sure it came up with 'connect the cable supplied with your camera' No printed manual too seems a bit mean. No doubt all this is rather late...

    Canon SX50 Specs

Well I joined the SX50HS club yesterday and was wondering if there was a 'sticky' giving ballpark suggested settings for static birds, large birds in flight, macro etc. Unfortunately due to Canon only supplying a soft copy manual it's going to take me a bit longer to get to grips with this one...

    HDEW and Canon cashback

I would add that even B&H sell 'imports' which I assume are 'grey' or 'gray' in their case. On the site you often get two options 'USA' or import ;-) I concur with the observation about sorting out international pricing. It seems the UK is deemed fat enough to rip-off - Canon and many other...

Mega Yank duffs up Coot today Amid a cacophony of noise the Pied Billed Grebe gave a Coot a dose of its own medicine this afternoon at Ham Wall ;-)) Could hardly believe my eyes and wondered if this was 'normal' behaviour?? I didn't see what caused this spat but the Coot had to get away very...

    Android Birding Apps

Collins Bird Guide on Android is coming in April 2013 and is available on Pre-Order on Play. I don't know if it will have sound though. There used to be a Wildsounds version on WinMobile Pro which was the Collins guide verbatim AND it had sound. However the authors I believe prevented it being...
