    Looking for opinions on this bird, seen at Britannia Conservation Area on the 13th. It showed a splotchy lemon yellow and pale gray breast with no noticeable streaking. A very young Magnolia Warbler maybe?

    Chipping Sparrow? Ottawa, ON

    This rather bedraggled sparrow showed up at my feeder this afternoon. I thought American Tree Sparrow at first, but on closer study it appears to be a Chipping Sparrow? Unusual in Ottawa in winter, if so.
