    Beautiful clear night here and I did see the moons when I used the tripod but I wasn’t impressed the better view was with the binoculars. I didn’t buy the scope to look at the stars I bought it for the birding and I am very happy with it for that but now the trouble is I seem to have got the sky...

    I havnt tried it on the tripod as it wasnt available at the time but with it been small and light I had a good hold of it. I get my tripod back today so I will try it on the first clear night hopefully tonight, thanks for the reply ;)

    I was walking at Spurn Point today and as I was going through the bush I flushed a bird with bright yellow under wings about the size of a blackbird and in flight it had the silhouette of a snipe? Any ideas
