    Red Tailed Hawk Bob! 8-P Buzzard I think, as Phil says pale chest band although it looked to me to be a juvenile Red Kite at one point! Certainly an unusually marked Buzzard if so. Hybrid Buzzard/Kite maybe? :-O

    First visit for a while to the new hide. It's proving to be a really good place to view from. Mallard family, Common Tern, Sparrowhawk, 1 Swift, Reed Warbler, GSW on feeder & a new spot for me, a Common Toad.

    Hi John, Countrywide Stores (Stoke Prior & Upton) are closing down & have a big discounts sale on now, 30-50% I think. So could be a cheaper source of birdfood possibly. I did have a discount card which I left with Paul M I think as well though they may not honour that given the circumstances...

    I was walking past the N Moors on the Causeway at 2pm that day, didn't see anything. One of the Little Egrets had flown up towrds the N Moors pool earlier. Rob

    I'm not sure if the Trust would be able to answer that question & in fact I feel it makes no difference to providing Disabled access as the aim is always to provide it for ALL disabilities, though as already said, not always straightforward to achieve. I have met a small no, maybe 4 or 5 I...

    Agreed on all that. Especially the sentence in bold. As technology/materials/etc advances it may be that all these issues can be addressed in ways that we don't know about currrently. Not any help to those struggling right now I know but it's not an ideal world sadly.

    I'm sorry if my post spoiled your enjoyment of the forum, however I will point out that UW forum is & has been, a forum for discussion, comment, advice & more on every aspect of the reserve. So when I see someone (Where Bird) misrepresenting the reserve & in all likelyhood putting people off...

    Been a while since I've posted on here though I keep up with everything that's going on. But after reading the posts from Where Bird I felt compelled to comment. First if you want to ask questions that it is likely only the Trust can answer then ask The Trust! I do not think that a new hide...
