Can anyone identify this bird in these photographs? The bird in the close ups was circling the area depicted in the pictures with the wider angle of view.
The head and face look very large (owl-size) to me in photo #3, but since the head/face in 1 and 5 don't appear that big maybe I'm reading photo #3 wrong.
Tail is too long for SEO...certainly in keeping with a Harrier...Northern Harrier can appear to have a facial disc not unlike SEO especially when viewed from the front hence the suggestion.
