Hi

I took these pictures near the end of August, 2017.

1. This was taken in Portland, my guess; Glaucous-winged? I think it was molting and its tail seemed to be "missing".
2. This was taken on Cannon Beach. My guess: Western Gull.

What do you think?

1 rather dark for G-w, I'd guess an 'Olympic' Gull (hybrid G-w x Western)

I would call that a pure Glaucous-winged Gull in photo #1.
