While adjusting my eyepice it came unscrewed, I screwed it back on but the image quality has deteriorated, does anyone have a suggestion.

Unless you just inadvertantly messed up the diopter setting too and didn't notice, I'd send it back to Zeiss for repair.

The eyepiece does not adjust as you have to use the center focussing knob to adjust the dioptre setting. It certainly seems that the binocular needs professional care.

Unscrewing the eyepiece shouldn't effect the image in any way. I regularly remove mine for cleaning purposes. It sounds like you're having a problem aside from the eyepiece itself.
