TC for - 80-200mm f/2.8D ED ? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

I'm looking to buy a TC for my - 80-200mm f/2.8D ED ? probably 1.4, maybe 1.7 but I've read that the 1.4 has virtually no impact on IQ and will give me the extra reach I need.

Anyway...after some reading I'm a little confused about which 1.4 model I need for this lens....will the TC-14E fit or is it a previous model I need to look for and are these as good ?

btw - I'm not fussed about AF or metering it will be used full manual on video equipment.

Cheers
Mat

hi scroll down a few threads in the Nikon section to a thread that starts "Nikon 300" IKW101 has a link on a thread to a Nikon compatibility chart. If its for video you could probably stuff a TC-20E on there.
