Hello,
I’m not so active in that forum, just as reader, therefore first of all:
Thank you for all the interesting posts I could read here in the past.

This time I need some advice from the experts.

I would like start with DSLR based bird photography and I’m thinking about two possibilities:

1) Pentax 75 SDHF plus T2 adapter with K-mount ring together with my Pentax K20D
2) Pentax PF-80EDA with PF-CA35 adapter and my K20D

I could check the 75 SDHF at terrestical observation a while and was quite impressed.
Combination 1) could be used later for astrophotography.

I have no chance to check the PF80 visually and have no idea about the combination PF80+CA35+DSLR.

It would be great if you could share your experience with me.

I’m aware about the mechanical/optical parameters.
I’m mainly interested in your opinion about optical quality (brightnes, contrast, CA’s) , photographic image quality as well the handling when changing from one to the other.

Thank you in advance,
Reinhold
