I just did a price check today on Amazon for the FZ18 vs FZ28.
FZ18 - Buy new: $499.99
FZ28 - Buy new: was $399.95 - now marked down to $280.00
I know, as a FZ18 owner, I'm biased, and it's not "really" fair to compare a widely available camera to one that's not made anymore. But, still I found this comparison very interesting.
There still seems to be a great demand for the FZ18 relatively long after Panasonic stopped making it. I'd like to think many of those creating the demand for the "old" FZ18 are birders. Are you listening Panasonic?
