Curlew or not? SW Turkey (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

A friend sent me this photo and am unsure as to whether it is a curlew or not. It is a poor photo and it was taken in strong sunlight. So it may be the effect of this that it looks so light coloured.

He seemed to think it was a white ibis but have never heard of one here, although I have read on the net that there have been escapees in europe.
