Wood Thrush and Unknown. Memphis TN 021214 (1 Viewer)

I know the brown bird is a Wood Thrush. Can anyone say if it is a male or female? The other bird is a mystery to me and if you can tell is it male or female also. Thanks ya'll.

I agree with Brown Thrasher simply for the bill shape. The funny thing is when I first saw the bird this morning I was trying to remember the name and for some reason wood thrush came to my mind. I couldn't remember thrasher and instead said thrush and went with it. BTW...what are the sexes?
