Dslr digiscoping step by step

Hi,

When attempting to digiscope with my 350d+50mm(1.8)+dca+
ats 80hd two things are not clear to me:

-what happens with the focusring of the 50mm?
(I leave it alone now.only focus with the scope after 350d is
mounted)
-When mounting the dca+350d I turn the eye-piece clockwise,
otherwise the dca won't fit?

Anyone who can help me out on this?

Below 2 of my better pictures so far... ;)

Hi gaviao i too have tried digi nscoping with the d50 nikon camera using the same 50 mm lens firstly i dont understand what you mean by Quote

When mounting the dca+350d I turn the eye-piece clockwise,
otherwise the dca won't fit?

On my setup i attach the swaro dca to my zoom eyepeice then put my 52mm ring on to the dca then atach the 50 mm to it then as for the set up it simple full manual control as far as the camera is concerned as autofocus with this set up is impossible too much glass use the scope to focus dont wory about the focus on the 50mm lens itself it doesent make a difference you can use it if you want but i always use the scope to focus use a sturdy tripod and a remote release and remember to use the viewfinder cover as to not get any extra light comming in.i

ps i like your shots

I hope this helps.
