Have been asked by BWVP what species should be shown on information boards on Tices. Any idears. Is it Little Ring Plover or what? Feed back would be most welcome by Monday.Think about those boards you v seen on nature reservses. Give us your idears. Rich H.

Little Egret might be a good one, as might Red Kite, and I know they're not that frequent, but Kingfisher always looks good on info boards.

Maybe some pictures of birds that the locals (non birders/no binoculars) might see.
How about Green Sandpier (recorded in every month of the year) and the most likely to be seen, Little Egret (aka White Heron!!) Little Grebe, Wheatear and Green Woodpecker.
Most visiting birders just by knowing the name Ties Meadow will know that good birds can be seen.

Sean we will see what we have for you , look forward to seeing you if not before on 13th with AOS at Portland they have weekend at obs.Just to let you guys know, I will be leading the Guildford RSPB group round Tice's for the first time on Sunday 15th September. All are welcome. Meeting at 9:30 in Aldershot Park CP (we had to do it from here due to the potential for large number of attendees).
I'll be expecting you guys to have found everything for us on our arrival at the mound!
