Hi All We are off on one of our visits to Hastings next week, and we wonderd if anyone could advise us on some inland birding sites in the area. We have "done" all the coastal strip from Rye to Brighton, but never seem to do any birding inland. Any site within 40 miles of Hastings would interest us, we dont mind travelling, just as well with our Grandsons 320 mile trip away from here. We wont even see the Red Kites this trip as were going via Hertfordshire.

Hi Peter,

Try putting your query in the Information Wanted forum and someone may reply there. Also try using the search forum box on trip reports, local patches, etc. Lots of information can be found that way.

Enjoy your trip and look forward to hearing all about it when you return.

Ann

Hi Peter - have you looked in Opus? There may well be some information there.

Have a lovely trip and travel safely.

Hi Peter,

I'd do what Ann suggests and copy and paste your query above and put it on the "Information Wanted" board. It always brings great response. Good luck Peter and I hope you and Dot and have a wonderful time.

Best wishes,

Sue.
