Birding around Washington, DC (1 Viewer)

I'm going to be working in Washington DC/Northern Virginia this summer and I was wondering if anyone knows where some good birding is in the area. I'm really into warblers and songbirds, so any tips on where to find those would be appreciated. But all birding location suggestions are welcome!

I will also be in Williamsburg, VA for part of the summer, so any suggestions around there would be great!

Lastly, if anyone knows good places in Northern Virginia to find Painted Buntings and Cedar Waxwings that would be wonderful!

Thanks!

There are many good birding spots in and around Washington DC. Too many in fact to list here, consult the following websites:

Painted Bunting is an extremely rare vagrant in most of VA and a rare winter and spring visitor to the extreme southeast part of the state (Newport News, Norfolk, etc). Cedar Waxwing is common in migration and in winter and rare in the summer in the coastal plain and in the piedmont of VA, and an uncommon permanent resident in the mountains and valleys of the western part of the state, similarly for MD.
