Taken this August. The wader is a long way off so I can only guess a Sandpiper of some type but not sure at all. The duck in the water I think is Shelduck in a varying state of plumage. Are the brown birds Golden Plovers - I have never seen one before? The duck out of the water I have very little idea. By the colour of the beak and dark plumage is it a juvenile teal - ducks are so difficult !
