Posting for a friend appreciate ID of this bird that was eating berries near Kaunos SW Turkey. Not a very clear photo I'm afraid.

Possible I suppose, i was thinking it had a black cap but now you mention nuthatch I suppose the angle could be just showing the eye stripe. They are found in the locality.
