Kingfishers you have seen (1 Viewer)

Just the three regular ABA Area species:

Belted
Ringed
Green

The latter two I've only seen once, in adjacent ponds at Santa Ana NWR on my only Texas trip to date, but I'm certainly grateful I managed to get both of them that day.

Just 6 in the mainland of China.

Common Kingfisher,
White-throated Kingfisher,Poyang Lake,wucheng.

8 sp. All in Thailand, plus Common in the UK.

Banded Kingfisher

Two more since, both in South Africa:

And you need to see both the Bougainville and Guadalcanal taxa, potential splits. Let's not forget the splitfest that will emerge from what is currently Collared Kingfisher with 49 races, and I'd go for Rossel Is Paradise-K as maybe the hardest and most obscure

My list of Kingfishers is pretty short.
Common (Europe, Sri Lanka)
Pied ( Egypt, Sri Lanka)
White-throated ( Sri Lanka)
Stork-billed ( Sri Lanka)
Belted (Florida)
Ringed ( Mexico)

Nice one Phil, and of course as you told me earlier, there's that issue with the Taveuni race of Collared Kingfisher, Collared in the IOC checklist and Sacred in Clements.
