My 8x32 bins came today and they are awesome - eye relief is not an issue with my glasses. I have the same exact bins in 8x42 so I knew what I was getting but the compactness of these gems is really sweet. I see why those that own them, love them. I sure do.

How do they compare with your Leupold Gold Ring 8x32's?

They're shorter, lighter, and a bit brighter. I sat out on the deck with both of them this morning and the Zeiss will make you smile when looking thru them. I'll have to see how the low light capability is against my Victory 8x42 bins.

That said, I'm still amazed how clear the Gold Rings are. I've often thought that in an effort to purge all of the non-HD glass before introducing the HD version, they could have put HD glass in bins marked as standard Gold Rings near the end of that manufacturing run. Or things just happened to line up well on my pair.
