Hi,

This sparrow got me stumped ... this was taken on March 26, 2017 at Attwater Prairie Chicken Refuge in Sealy, Texas (unfortunately, I did not see the Prairie Chickens). Could someone please help with the ID of this sparrow?

Thanks in advance,
Howard

Ok, thanks. What made me think of Henslow's is it's large(-ish) bill, but the lack of steaks on its side and breast seem to confirm that it is a Grasshopper.

I also find the olive on the face and head of a Henslow's (but not on this bird) to be very noticeable in the field.
