Pipit ,Northern Greece (1 Viewer)

I'd have gone for juv Tawny Pipit.

Definitely no juvenile here.

The plumage is terribly worn with a few newly emerged greater coverts. The seemingly swollen corners of the mouth may have fooled you, but many adults passerines look different when the c.o.m.are exposed when the surrounding tiny feathers are worn away or shed when moulting.

Can't go for pipits (lenght and shape of bill, too long primary projection), but have a hard time deciding for which lark (Wood or Sky) it is.

Lean slightly to Skylark, but would love to hear other suggestions on this (for me) challenging photo.
