Am staying in Dornie (near Kyle of Lochalsh) for a week at the end of April

Any tips on specific spots to see and photograph wildlife in that area? definately want to see both eagles.

Thanks!

Boat trip out of Portree for sea eagle. Both eagles can be seen anywhere over Skye

Glass hulled boat out of Kyle of Lochalsh for a good selection of wildlife round the bridge

Drive up Bealach na Ba to Applecross for Ptarmigan, golden eagle etc

Kilt Rocks and Dunvegan Castle on Skye are both good but take a look at skyebirds for more information

Forgot to add one of my favourite trips - ferry from Uig to North Uist, coach trip round the island, ferry to Harris, coach trip then ferry back. Seabirds, cetaceans, eagles, corncrake, seals, skuas etc

See Calmac website under special trips for full details. A full day out, no work on your part and plenty of wildlife, all for under thirty quid. Bargain

Thanks Gordon

Just seen that you're the author of a book about birdwatching sites in Scotland, I'll pick up a copy, cheers!
