Is the dark-backed duck just an unusual Mallard, or some kind of Black Duck or a hybrid?
(Picture taken at the confluence of river Sava into Danube)

Thank you! We have (or had) three hybrids (two with Muscovy and one with Wood Duck) and two white ducks in the same general area, so I guess it is always best to check everything unusual.
