We're planning a family holiday at one of the beach resorts that offer all inclusive deals. Which resort area would you choose to combine with some good birding (and whale watching).

Thanks.

Hi Gashead

We have just returned (Sunday) from 14 days in Mazatlan. The birding is great and I can recommend a wonderful guide for day trips (Tufted Jay, Military Macaw, etc). There are also good local areas around hotels which are reachable by bus (60cents per trip!).

Last year we were in Huatulco, which also had great local birding and guides available for day trips.

Let me know if I can be of futher assistance.

Tony
