Yo, this was in a field of a mixed flock of Gulls, Lapwing and Golden Plover near Islip, Oxon, November 2008. Sat in the field. Flew 20 yards. Sat in field, flew and perched in a tree 100 yards away. I guessed it was a common buzzard feeding on worms and the like on the ground... heard of this but not seen before, normally soaring overhead... hence 'unusual' camera angle (for me), of top feathers etc... Just wanted confirmation that it is a common buzzard please. Thanks. Apologies for quality of images, it was fair way off... and it was the plovers I was interested in. Many Thanks
