Help to identify some sparrows from California (USA) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I need help to identify some sparrows that I saw last november 11th, on Bolsa Chica Ecological Preserve, near Los Angeles, in California. This seems to be a good location for Belding's sparrow.

I think that the first three pictures correspond to Savannah sparrows (Passerculus sandwichensis) (pictures 1 and 2-3 are different birds). In the fourth bird I see dark streaks and I guess that it can be a Belding's sparrow (Passerculus guttatus). However, I am not sure about these IDs.

Thanks in advance

Antonio

Some more pictures from California (Nov 2017)

Hi,

I add some new additional pictures taken last November 16th, in California.

In my opinion these birds are:

Picture 1 (taken South Shores Parkway, San Diego): Lincoln's sparrow.
Picture 2 (taken South Shores Parkway, San Diego): Savannah sparrow (not Belding's).
Picture 3 (taken at Treasure Island Park, Laguna Beach): Orange-crowned warbler).

Can anybody confirm these identifications?

Thanks

Antonio

Thank you for your help with these identifications,

I add two more views of the bird on picture 1, just to confirm the identification as song sparrow.

Thanks again

Antonio

Help with some birds from Newport Back Bay (California, USA) (Nov. 2017)

Hi again,

I need your help to confirm the identification of some more birds. This time, pictures were taken at Newport Back Bay, in Newport Beach, California, on November 20th, 2017. My impression is that these birds are as follows:

#1: Song sparrow
#2: Song sparrow (different bird from that in #1)
#3: House wren
#4: Belding's sparrow

I would acknowledge your opinion.

Thanks

Antonio

You're correct with your guesses... I'm not sure that the last one is Belding's, certainly a Savannah Sparrow, I would lean towards typical Savannah but slight possibility it could be Large billed.

Thank you, Tom, for your help.

Any other opinion regarding the last picture? If not, I will consider it a typical savannah sparrow.
