Thinking i want to make some changes in my lens lineup. Right now Canon 7D MK II body. 400 5.6L and 100-400 MK1.
A majority of what i shoot (90%) is birds which i use primarily the 400 5.6.
The 100-400 is a fill in for birds and also primary for butterflies and dragonflies.
My though is to swap the 100-400 for either a 70-200 f2.8 or f4 IS or maybe 70-300L.
or sell both the 400 5.6 and 100-400 for new version of the 100-400 MKII and just use one lens.
Weight is a concern as just coming off back surgery and don't want to be carrying a heavy load.
Thoughts, suggestions?
