The link to my blog is here http://eastyorkshirewildlife.blogspot.com/ it revolves around my birding and photography exploits on and around the east yorkshire coast including Spurn and the odd trip into Lincolnshire.

My blog is a mixture of birding reports if I've seen something good! My thoughts on certain topics and general junk about birding in the UK!
Hopefully I will be able to develop my digiscoping skills in the next year with new gear and I'm also doing a York area year list! http://timsbirding.blogspot.com/ |

If there's a longer running birding blog than mine I'm not aware of it (since April 2006).
Longevity is no indication of quality though! Like others, I love blogging and frequently look back over the years. Thats what it's there for. If others want to look in and comment, all the better.

Although it takes up a fair amount of my time, I have enjoyed having somewhere to keep all my diaires, photos and trip reports. I find most people are very generous in their comments both to me personally and through contact by e-mail to my somewhat errant photography and writing efforts! Details of wildlife in and around our small village and Hodbarrow RSPB reserve can be seen on my link www.haverigg.com not a blog as such but a basic website for this area as there was nothing to be seen online ,only tourist adverts for Millom, the nearest local town.

I have put some a post on mine about Ruddy Ducks after a few people on the Yorkshire Facebook group made some mental statements about the cull so I thought I would look at the science and history and review it.

A very sweary blog, it contains not a lot of substance. For example, the latest post is a report from John Craven about Sarah Harding's recent troubles. My greatest ever review came from Colin Key who wrote 'it is utter shite' which I was pleased with. I receive no comments and have very few followers. Colin Key is right. Not for the easily offended. Shameless self promotion.

I have been blogging since 2008 when I realised I could do that for free rather than keep my www.indybirder.com website running.
One thing I was wondering was, is there any way you can consolidate your blog into a printable document? I enjoy reading back through mine as it forms quite a good diary of my birding (of interest to me only probably), but it would be cool to get to the end of a year and then print out the previous year's posts to keep for posterity. Anybody know an easy way of doing this, without just copy and pasting all my posts individually? Cheers, Jono |

Sorry the link to my old birding website is http://indybirder.tripod.com/
I started that 10 years ago (blimey where did that go) as a way of documenting birds at Grafham Water. Sadly a lot of the photos have fallen off since I stopped paying for the site, but there still may be bits of interest on there. Cheers Jono |

Just found this forum.
I do a blog about bird trips/sightings in Houston and southeast Texas. It may be of interest to people intending to do some birding in this area. Jeff www.jeffincypress.blogspot.com |

G'day all
I spent a year (July 2010 to June 2011) in Tanzania - mostly up in Kagera Region. I blogged about the birds I saw here: http://bukobasteve.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html If anyone is heading up that way get in touch and I'd be happy to provide birding tips. Link has changed back to the original.
It is now here: http://dendroicawatch.blogspot.com/ Currently it is set in California. And guys, if you need a custom favicon I can provide them. I.e. mine has a Magnolia Warbler by the address bar.

Here's my blog (I'm now sharing it with a mate of mine too), basically just a summary of all the major birding trips I do, for myself to read in the future, for family members, and I try to put useful information in there too for any birders wanting information!
http://j-twitcher.blogspot.com.au/ Some great blogs have been posted so far, keep 'em coming! ![]()
