    Ducks in King County, WA

    I have been seeing some flocks of ducks in different duck ponds near parks and at the beaches on Lake Sammamish and Lake Washington. The birds seem to resemble American Black Ducks but ebird seems to suggest they are rare for the area. Are these really American black ducks or some other species?

    Amur falcon or peregrine falcon, Maharashtra 2015 April

    Help with ID. This black color bird come in and leaves with one of my Green Jay. The Green Jay will go to the feeder and feed, but the black color bird just sets and waits till the Green Jay flies off then it fly off with the Green Jay. The closest I see is a Brown-headed or Bronzed Cowbird...
