a few canary islands butterflies (2 Viewers)

Though largely a short birding trip to see the endemic Blue Chaffinches a couple of weeks ago; I took the chance to look for any butterflies and dragonflies when the sun shone. Overall my two friends and I struggled for insects only seeing a few, or sometimes 1 of each species and missing out on several endemics completely.

A more thorough report, esp about the birds will hopefully follow from one of the participants

I've posted a few here as some, such as Gran Canaria Grayling, probably don't get photographed that often.

I may have got the blues wrong and am happy to be corrected
