Hi all,

Live in Perth, Western Australia and have been birding pretty much all my life (at least since I can remember). Stumbled across this forum, joined up and.........................well that's about it, really.

Look forward to being involved in some of the discussions here and there, might even be able to contribute something useful ;)

Cheers,
John

Hi John and welcome on behalf of the Staff and Moderators

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I'll look forward to hearing about the birds in your area.

Hey John! Welcome to BF! Looking forward to hearing about your experiences, and hope you enjoy the forum!

What a great country. Too bad about the currency of late ----- but it makes it easier for us to come back for our 4th time. Yet to get to Perth and see that Western Spinebill. Must be incredible. All our friends and family are in Queensland. Such a great country you have.

Welcome to the forum. I'm just back from 6 days in Perth myself. I think that it is a great city, with lots of birds to be seen. I visited Rottnest Island last Saturday, Yanchep National Park on Sunday, and Lake Monger and Fremantle on Monday.

hi

Hi John

Welcome and hope you enjoy it. Not sure we get much from your neck of the woods so your input would be most welcome.

All the best
