Bird Report for Pokhara (1 Viewer)

I lived and worked in Nepal from July 2011 until November 2012. I was based mainly in the Far-West and have kept a blog that has highlighted (and continues to highlight) some of my sightings from there. You can read the blog at Confessions of a Global Birder. A popular item remains 'Wallcreeper at Chobar Quarry, Kathmandu'

However, and getiing away from the blog, I wrote a trip report of a week spent in Pokhara over New Year 2011/12. I originally posted this report on travvellingbirder, surfbirds, birdtoursUK etc but am fairly new to Birdforum. The information should still be relevant and was written for birders without private transport. A recent article in BirdingASIA 17 discusses the newly established Vulture Restaurant near Pokhara. If you need info on this, let me know and I'll post details. Unfortunately, there are no photos as I was 'between cameras' at the time...

Enjoy the report,

Mark.
