I'm not 100% sure with these four birds .....apologies for quality of pics as we're taken in evening ( late summer)...I think:
A redshank ?
B curlew ?
C golden plover ?
D (curlew sandpiper or) curlew ?

Hello,
I agree with you about the Redshank and the Curlew in your first two pictures.

The third seems a Grey Plover imo. Please note
  • lack of warm buff or golden hues on the upperparts and coarse pattern there (yes whishful thinking)
  • Whitish crown, at least whiter and paler than in most Golden Plovers. In Golden plovers, top of the head contrasts less with black face mask
And I agree with you, last one is a Curlew and no Curlew Sandpiper. Your picture is a good example imo where it's god to trust the gut feeling.
