Not sure about this gull. Looks a bit odd too me. The shots are taken a couple of days ago.

Black-headed gull, 1st-winter. Perfectly not-odd. If you say what you think is odd, someone may be able to help you out.

Thanks, I am confused by the bill. It seems smaller and longer than I expected.

In pics 1-2 it's turned away and seen from underneath, hence looks (but isn't) odd. In pics 3-4 it looks more field-guidey. The underside of the primaries and the bill-size are wrong for Bonaparte's gull, and (e.g.) the head-pattern is wrong for slender-billed gull.
