Can anyone please advise .I have a bird box with inside camera inside contains baby blue tits I noticed for a few days mum wasn't feeding one .today it's in the corner moving it's head being ignored by mum .other baby birds are standing on it and pecking at it .baby birds are fully featherd and are big . It's obvious the bird is going to die but I'm concerned about a dead bird being left in the box due to being unable to disturb the nest .

Welcome to Birdforum.

There is nothing you can do in this case. Unfortunately these things happen.

Hi Freddie and a warm welcome from all the Staff and Moderators. The adults would normally remove the dead one to avoid contaminating the nest, unless, maybe, .the others are just on the point of fledging. Please let us know how it goes, pease.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
